Rick Brinkley is a former national Emmy-nominated television producer, non-profit President and CEO, State Senator, minister, addict and felon. Despite his success, or as a result of it, Brinkley fell victim to addiction like 21,000,000 other Americans. As a result of choices made in his addiction, he was sentenced to 37 months in Federal Prison. While in prison and since being released, he has spent a majority of his time working with other addicts and their families. Today, Rick tells his story with humor and sincerity. He wants people to stop building prisons of their own making – Fencing themselves in and locking themselves away from the life they were born to live.
